Beautiful trees shade the property, and all summer long you can hear the song of the cicadas. The impressive southern cliffs of the Vercors<\/strong> dominate the valley and bring the pleasant coolness of the surrounding peaks every night.<\/span><\/p>\n

The clear water of the Dr\u00f4me<\/strong> flows over its pebbles all year round. It moves along its bed as it pleases, leaving us here and there, a few steps from the mill, some pretty little natural swimming pools<\/strong> and small sandy beaches. Mosquitoes are very rare thanks to the fish, frogs, and dragonflies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our neighbors the beavers<\/strong> have built several nests, which they occupy as best they can depending on the water level. They leave a few “construction sites” and nibbled branches on the banks. We can observe them at the end of the day.
