General rental conditions

1 – General provisions
The tenant may under no circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the period initially provided for in this contract.

2 – Use of the premises
The tenant will enjoy the rental in a peaceful manner and will make good use of it, in accordance with the destination of the premises. The tenant undertakes to return the furnished accommodation, upon departure, as clean and tidy as he found it upon arrival.
The rental cannot under any circumstances benefit third parties.
The owners will provide the accommodation in accordance with the description they have given and will keep it in serviceable condition.
Unless previously agreed by telephone or SMS, arrivals are from 5 p.m. and departures are at 11 a.m. in the morning.

3 – Security deposit or deposit
The amount of the security deposit is equal to the amount of one week’s rental.
It is paid at the time of entry into the premises.
As a general rule, it is returned to the tenant at the time of departure. In the event of a dispute, it will be returned within 8 days at the latest, deducting, in the event of damage to the furnished elements and the goods made available, any replacement costs or repair on quote.
If the deposit is insufficient, the tenant is to complete the amount after the exit inventory.
In the event of disputes or complaints, a quote will be made by a professional or an authorised organization requested by the tenant or, failing that, by the owner during the inventory of the premises at check-out.
4 – Number of occupants
In the event that the number of people accepted mentioned in the contract is exceeded (baby included), the rental company reserves the right to interrupt the contract at the tenant’s expense.

5 – Animals
Animals, even pets, are not allowed.

6 – The house is non-smoking
An outdoor space is set up for smokers.

7 – Inventory
The incoming inventory of fixtures, furniture and equipment will be carried out jointly by the owners and the tenant at the beginning and at the end of the stay.

8 – Payment
The amount of the Deposit is 50% of the rental rent.
In addition to your deposit paid by credit card when you book, the owners will send the tenant, 3 days before their arrival, an email with an invitation to pay the balance online. In all cases, the balance must be paid on the expected day of arrival stipulated in the contract.
(If booking less than 8 days before arrival, you have already paid the total for your stay.)
If the tenant delays their arrival, they must notify the owners in advance and send them the balance of the rent for the start date of the rental initially planned; under these conditions, article 10 paragraph a will not be applied.
TOURIST TAX: It is €0.70 per night and per adult over 18 years old for the guest rooms and €0.80 for the gîtes.

9 – Interruption of the stay
In the event of early termination of the stay by the tenant, and if the owners’ liability is not called into question, no reimbursement will be made, apart from that of the security deposit.

10 – Cancellation conditions
Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter before entry into use:
As a general rule, the deposit remains with the owners;
a – If the tenant does not appear on the day mentioned in the contract: After a period of 24 hours and without notice to the owner, this contract is considered terminated. the deposit remains with the owner and the balance will be due. The owner may make use of the furnished accommodation.
b – In the event of cancellation of the rental by the owners, they will reimburse the amount of the deposit to the tenant.

11 – Insurance
The tenant is required to insure the premises entrusted or rented to him. They must therefore check if their main residence contract provides for the resort extension (vacation rental). Otherwise, they must subscribe to the necessary extension.
